VOILTIS Cable’s All Aluminum Conductors (AAC) serve as optimal solutions for electrical transmission in urban environments where support structures are positioned at closer intervals. Our AAC products perform exceptionally well in metropolitan power distribution networks where span distances remain relatively short. These conductors demonstrate superior performance in coastal areas due to their excellent resistance to corrosion and environmental degradation. VOILTIS Cable manufactures these conductors specifically for aerial distribution systems, power transmission feeders, and substation bus bars that require reliable performance under various environmental conditions.
All Aluminum Conductors from VOILTIS Cable consist of high-quality concentric lay stranded aluminum wires that meet rigorous industry standards. Our manufacturing process utilizes electrolytically refined aluminum with a minimum purity of 99.7% to ensure optimal conductivity and performance. The product features hard-drawn aluminum wires meticulously arranged in successive layers with alternating directions to create a balanced and stable structure. 5 Each conductor incorporates multiple strands of aluminum wire, with the exact configuration depending on the specific application requirements and performance specifications. The strategic arrangement of these strands enables our AAC products to deliver consistent electrical performance while maintaining structural integrity under various operating conditions.
VOILTIS Cable adheres to multiple international standards in the production of our AAC conductors to ensure global compatibility and exceptional quality. Our manufacturing processes comply with IEC 61089 specifications for round wire concentric lay overhead electrical stranded conductors. The production also follows ASTM B 231 standards for Concentric-Lay-Stranded Aluminum 1350 Conductors to guarantee consistent performance. Additionally, our AAC products meet the requirements outlined in BS EN 50182 for electrical conductors used in power transmission systems. The hard-drawn aluminum conductors are produced according to EN 60889 Type AL1 standards to ensure optimal mechanical and electrical properties. 6 Our comprehensive quality control process verifies that each conductor meets or exceeds these international specifications before leaving our facility.
