OPGW cables are used power transmission, communication, and lightning protection. lt could replace traditional static /shield /earth wires on overhead transmission lines and add benefit of containing optical fibers which can be used for telecommunications purposes.lt is suitable for high-voltage/ultra-high-voltage lines in intercity or cross-country projects that need both communication and grounding functions over long distances.
Central Al-covered Stainless Steel Tube applies to the transmission line which requires small diameter and large fault current.
DESCRIPTION
The central Al-covered steel tube is surrounded by single or double layers of aluminium clad steel wires(ACS) or mix ACS wires and aluminium alloy wires.
