APPLICATION
OPGW cables are used power transmission, communication, and lightning protection. lt could replace traditional static / shield /earth wires on overhead transmission lines and add benefit of containing optical fibers which can be used for telecommunications purposes.lt is suitable for high-voltage/ultra-high-voltage lines in intercity or cross-country projects that need both communication and grounding functions over long distances.

DESCRIPTION
The Central Type Aluminum Tube is surrounded by single or double layers of aluminium clad steel wires(ACS) or mix ACS wires and aluminium alloy wires.

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS
Good anti-corrosion performance and good anti-lightning performance.
Material and structure are uniform, good resistance to vibration fatgue.
Short circuit current has small effect on the optical fiber transmisslon properties.
